In this letter, we study the electron–ion quantum plasma oscillations in molecule using the linearized quantum hydrodynamic model in conjunction with the Poisson's equation. We obtain a new low-frequency electrostatic excitation in the molecule, i.e., quantum ion-acoustic wave oscillations in addition to the high-frequency dispersion.
