CFD Simulation of Adsorption Process of Rhodamine B using Graphene

Rhodamine B is one of the toxic pollutants in industrial wastewater that its solubility in water, makes it difficult to separate and remove from water and waste water. This contaminant material commonly found in wastewater of textile industries, so remove the toxic and water-soluble species should be necessary. Recently, the novel methods have been applied to remove these contaminants. The most common method in this manner is the use of industrial solid adsorbents. Graphene as high potential nano-adsorbents is capable to perfectly adsorb Rhodamine B. In this study, the experimental data is initially used to simulate adsorption process and empirical data validated by computational fluid dynamics techniques which shown the satisfactory accordance with the experimental data.
