In this paper a novel microstrip bandpass filter based on H-Shaped resonators is proposed. This filter achieves a very wide stopband and high selectivity. The proposed filter is designed, simulated and fabricated and the simulation results are in good agreement with measurement results. The central frequency of this filter is 4.98 GHz with a bandwidth of 70 MHz. The overall physical size of this filter is 36.1 mm * 7 mm.
